Kevin is the programmer and tech lead for SoapMetrics. He builds and maintains the soap calculator, lye calculations, recipe analysis, and the rest of the workspace around saved recipes, batches, and inventory.
SoapMetrics started as a way to give soap makers accurate NaOH, KOH, and dual-lye calculations with a clearer view of what a formula is doing. Kevin handles the technical side of that work: the site, the math implementation, and the features that turn a calculator into a place to organize production.
He works with Amy, a soap maker with about a decade of hands-on experience, so the tools stay grounded in how people actually formulate and make soap.
